Here comes the A-C-T Blog! Here I give you an Awe moment from research or own experience, a Citation supporting the topic and a Take away for you to ponder on.
Awe moment
It feels like yesterday, me and my husband decided to embark on a life-changing journey and move to Portugal, leaving behind family, friends, and everything familiar.
The aim was to embrace a simpler, yet more fulfilling life, one that would create more space for personal and professional growth. This decision, while exciting, has brought with it a series of mental and emotional challenges, missing our loved ones and the feeling of ‘home’, to name a few.
Until I realised, that no matter how difficult it gets, such change gives us the opportunity to completely reset, re-establishing my routines and habits from scratch. Amidst the fear and uncertainty, lies a profound sense of discovery and a chance to reinvent myself. This new chapter is an awe-inspiring testament to the power of embracing change and the incredible growth that comes from stepping out of one’s comfort zone.

Take Away
Change, whether intentional or not, big or small, is never easy. As creatures of habit, it’s no wonder it can be scary and feel negative. Yet without change, we cannot grow, evolve, learn, and become better human beings.
Whatever change you are currently experiencing or wanting to embark on, here are 3 tips to help you embrace and accept it:
- Maintain a Positive Mindset: Focus on the potential benefits and growth opportunities that come with the specific change. Embrace the new experiences and lessons it offers.
- Stay Flexible: Be open to adjusting your plans and expectations. Flexibility allows you to adapt more easily to new circumstances, reduces stress and pressure on self.
- Seek Support: Surround yourself with supportive people who encourage and help you navigate through the transition. Sharing your journey with others, can provide comfort and perspective.
How can the change you are currently experiencing, help you improve and grow into the person you aspire to be?
